Accountant position available for a small accounting firm in Umhlanga / La Lucia.

Analyse accounting data, prepare monthly management accounts.
Provide financial information to management.
Document financial transactions by entering accounting information.
Prepare Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Trial Balance.
Record and analyse financial data.
Reconcile bank statements with financial records to summarize banking and business operations.
Attend to bi-monthly VAT submissions and audits.
Submit provisional tax for companies and individuals.
Prepare Annual Financial Statements.
Conduct monthly reconciliations for Balance Sheet items.
Perform monthly payroll reconciliations.
Handle monthly e-filing requirements.
Assist with CIPC submissions.
Assist with Workmen's Compensation submissions.

Skills:

Communicate effectively with clients.
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills - Pastel Partner, Xpress, Sage One, Xero, Caseware.
Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
Experience with SARS e-filing and dealing with SARS for all correspondence and audits.
Experience with CIPC portal.

Qualifications:

Package between R16k to R22k CTC based on level and experience.
