Job Title: Sales Manager Our client, in the
automotive industry, is looking to employ a
Sales Manager for their team in
Centurion .
The sales manager will be managing staff in the parts department, overseeing the order process for replacement parts and boosting sales of parts. Achieving predetermined quantitative objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Liase with developers to order parts required for market
- Tracking and confirming parts ordered for customer
- Hiring, training, motivating, counselling and monitoring performance of all part department staff
- Preparing and administering an annual operating budget for the parts department
- Establishing individual parts inventory levels and balances for them for maximum turnover
- Analysing sales, expenses and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals
- Developing and administering an aggressive wholesale parts program to produce profit
- Assisting in the collection of past due accounts
- Planning and crafting promotional sales campaigns
- Preparing monthly and annual sales reports
- Resolving customer problems and queries Leading, Developing, and implementing variable cost programmes across all areas of responsibility
- Managing, coaching, and developing a high performing sales team’s through dealing with personnel issues, attendance and leave
- Develop, implement and manage KPI’s for each area of responsibility
- Work as part of the management team, developing strong relationships stakeholders, and staying up to date with supply and demand op products
Required qualification and working knowledge:
- Matric Certificate
- 5 – 8 Years of experience as a manager within the automotive industry
- Technical knowledge
- Experience in motor parts sales, and customer interaction
- Understanding of ISO 9001/45001 or other quality management systems
