We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join our client, a leading player in the gaming industry. Based in Johannesburg North, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to contribute to the financial management of a dynamic and fast-growing company. The ideal candidate will have a BCom Degree with completed articles, strong expertise in tax, a comprehensive understanding of the full financial function, and experience in monthly reporting and the preparation of annual financial statements.
Duties: - Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial activities, including financial transactions, reconciliations, and accounting records.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure that all financial data is accurately captured and reported.
- Prepare and review annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and other relevant accounting standards.
- Manage tax-related matters, including VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax returns. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and optimize tax efficiency.
Job Experience & Skills Required: - Qualifications:
- BCom Accounting Degree.
- SAICA/SAIPA articles is beneficial.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of the gaming/gambling industry is preferred.
