About the role
We are looking for a skilled Key Accounts Manager to maintain and expand relationships with our key customers. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business from Brokerages, exploring new target markets, and meeting targeted sales goals. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience working in a UMA or Insurer, be target-driven, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
- Generate new business opportunities from Brokerages
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Prepare reports on account status
Qualifications and skills:
- Matric
- RE 5 qualification
- FETC in Short Term Insurance NQF 4
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing / Business Administration (ADV)
- Experience in exploring new target markets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
