Job Specification: Senior Business Development Manager
Location: Johannesburg
Salary Range: R100,000 - R150,000 per month (CTC) Additional Benefits: Standard company benefits, commission structure, and incentive targets upon achieving budget.

Qualifications
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Registered as a representative with the FSB under the FAIS Act.
- Advantageous qualifications include NQF5 in Wealth Management, Healthcare experience, or Retirement Fund consulting experience.
- Minimum of 7-10 years in a similar role within Healthcare and/or Retirement Funding.
- Proven sales track record with expertise in acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships.
- High work ethic and the ability to maintain confidentially
- Specific experience in the Retirement and Healthcare industries is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue opportunities for new business.
- Generate and close business deals through effective networking and referrals.
- Implement and oversee client onboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions.
- Apply professional expertise and company policies to address and resolve issues.
- Understand the needs of teams and clients to develop aligned strategies.
- Network within the Employee Benefits industry to promote the brand and build strong relationships.
- Conduct in-depth client research to anticipate and prepare for future interactions.
- Use effective questioning and influencing skills to build trusted client relationships.
- Collaborate with client management and bid management teams to meet objectives.
- Manage the sales pipeline efficiently to achieve budgeted revenue targets.
- Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to deliver client-focused solutions
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong technical knowledge for articulating solutions to clients.
- Comprehensive understanding of industry strategies and company goals.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Team Management
- Capable of managing a small team (initially two staff members), with the objective to grow the unit to at least four sales consultants
