Logistics Coordinator Job Description
Our client in the Building Industry is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator, who has effective written and verbal communications skills, pays attention to detail and has a strong character to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Plans, organizes, and coordinates the movement of Cement and materials to ensure that delivery schedules are met.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and transport service providers to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of loads.
- Create and manage transport schedules.
- Monitor the progress of transport operations and adjust schedules as necessary.
- Ensure that all transport operations comply with relevant regulations, including safety and environmental regulations.
- Ensure that drivers and vehicles are licensed and registered correctly.
- Keep accurate records of transport operations, fuel consumption, and transport schedules.
- Resolve any issues that arise during transport operations, including delays, breakdowns, and other disruptions.
- Develop and manage relationships with transporters and customers.
Minimum Requirements
- A degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- 3-4 years’ experience as Logistics Coordinator or Planner is essential.
- SAP Experience.
- Excel Experience.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
