Main Purpose
The Senior Industrial Engineer is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing logistics solutions, managing stakeholder expectations throughout the solution design and implementation phases. Key areas of focus include:
- Analyse and implement value-adding logistics solutions.
- Support strategic objectives and manage change effectively.
- Drive continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma.
- Optimize warehouse and transport planning.
Basic Minimum Requirements
- Education : B-Eng Degree in Industrial Engineering
- Computer Literacy : Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Beneficial: Microsoft Access, SQL, Microsoft Visio, SharePoint, Power Apps, ERP Systems, TMS, PYTHON
- Experience: 8+ years in logistics & supply chain management or related industry & Lean Six Sigma
- Expertise in Supply Chain Optimization, Planning & Design
- Business Analysis and Development of BRS & SRS
Job-related Requirements
- Industrial Engineering : 5+ years in logistics or related industry
- Lean Six Sigma : 5+ years in logistics (beneficial)
- Leadership : 3+ years in business or operations, with staff performance management
- ERP/WMS Systems : 2+ years operational experience (development advantageous)
- TMS Systems : 3+ years (advantageous)
- Supply Chain Optimization : 5+ years in warehouse or route planning (beneficial)
- Business Analysis : 5+ years (essential)
- Change Management : 3+ years (essential)
Project Management & TOC (Theory of Constraints)

- Engineered Solutions : Develop value-adding logistics solutions for clients

- Data Analysis : Compare and analyze logistics data for process optimization
- Business Cases : Develop ROI-driven cases for productivity improvements
- Continuous Improvement : Manage and report on cost-saving initiatives
- Change Management : Lead transitions through the S-Curve effectively
- Business Analysis : Translate business needs into IT-specific requirements
- SIGMA Initiatives : Identify and implement Lean Six Sigma improvements
- Group Facilitation : Lead cross-functional teams in planning or problem-solving
