The purpose of the Contract Manager role is to ensure effective and compliant management of all contractual obligations, mitigating risks and facilitating smooth project execution.
- Contract Management: Support contract negotiation and preparation with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor contract compliance and identify potential risks
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align contract requirements with project goals
- Cost and Budget Management: Oversee project budgets and ensure contracts align with financial constraints
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain contract-related records and prepare regular reports on contract status and performance
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers and act as the primary point of contact for contractual matters and resolve disputes
- Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate contractor and subcontractor performance against contractual obligation
- University degree or completed apprenticeship with focus on business administration or project management (or a comparable field of study)
- 5+ years of experience in a similar function
- Knowledge of contract law (Fidic, VOB) is a mandatory
- Fluent English and German skills is a plus
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and ideally SAP S4 / HANA
- Motivation and independent working style to push topics independently and persistently and to achieve high quality results
- Excellent team spirit and communication skills as well as ability to work under pressure
