SCANBUR A/S is a company in growth, with our headquarters located south of Copenhagen, in Karlslunde, Denmark. We have sales offices in Sweden and Norway, and sales representatives in the UK, Germany and Finland. SCANBUR is a trading company going back to 1961, with 50 employees engaged in the Life Science industry. We develop, produce and sell equipment and consumables to research laboratories.
SCANBUR is well established on the market for Life Science. We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our DACH team.
As Service Technician you will be a key person for our customers and your colleagues, working closely with our Sales & Service Team in DACH region and the rest of the Sales and Service team in Denmark and Europe.
Your job is mainly to:
- Perform acute as well as preventive service at customers' premises
- Install new equipment, including function testing and formal transfer
- Train and educate customers in the use of the equipment
- Assisting our service teams in Central Europe on an ad hoc basis
Primary service areas: Norther Germany.
Secondary service areas: Southern Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK and Benelux.
Extensive travelling primarily in the Northern part of Germany must be expected. Service tasks on the entire territory of Germany can be expected. Ideally you are based in Northern Germany.
We are looking for an experienced Technician; Electrical Engineer or similar background who is very customer friendly, flexible and effective thriving in a busy and complex environment. You must be a self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to cooperate. At the same time, you must be able and willing to work independently. In this role you need to be communicative, trustworthy and thorough yet effective. You are able to communicate technical issues with the customers and colleagues in an easily understandable manner.
It is important that you speak German fluently.
