A project-focused engineering business, implementing innovative systems across multiple industries is seeking to employ an experienced Accountant to cover all aspects of month end, reporting into a Group Financial Controller. The role responsibilities will be:
- Work with the Group Financial Controller in an entrepreneurial fast-moving environment to support closing and managing projects
- Sales Ledger across the group, ensuring effective credit collections
- Month end closure: accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, balance sheet balances reconciliation
- Responsible for intercompany recharges, monthly reconciliations and foreign exchange updates
- Costs allocation across the Group
- VAT returns and other statutory submissions for UK and overseas subsidiaries
- Support in Year-End closure and Audit
