Service Manager
The Service Team is the engine room of the business, consisting of multiple teams that interact daily. The primary goal of the Service Team is to provide efficient and effective service delivery to clients. We are looking for a Medical Service Manager to join this dynamic team.
The key role of a Medical Service Manager is to engage with clients during the initial stages of new requests for proposals (RFPs), thoroughly complete compliance reviews, develop tailored solutions for clients, and provide them with commercial proposals for their medical projects. The aim is to ensure that clients rely on us for all their shipping and compliance needs for medical commodities.
Role Responsibilities
Project Management and RFPs:
- Bespoke quoting for medical client projects.
- Conduct compliance reviews for new medical shipment requests, collaborating with internal research and development teams and external parties to investigate shipment compliance requirements.
- Manage the import of medical supplies for global clinical trials.
- Coordinate with internal support teams to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery for medical shipments.
- Provide flexible, innovative solutions and processes to meet medical clients' needs.
- Conduct comprehensive project handovers to the service team or continue oversight as required.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Liaise with an international pool of medical clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Conduct client calls to outline pre-compliance requirements specific to medical projects.
- Work closely with medical clients to manage key projects and ensure their satisfaction.
- Handle exceptional escalations to resolve medical client issues.
- Drive deal conversions within the medical industry.
Qualifications and Experience
- A professional qualification (CA, Lawyer, or similar) with a strong academic track record.
- Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Creative problem-solving and research skills.
- General business acumen, particularly within the medical field.
