Our client is searching for a dedicated Product Support Manager to join their team. This is a unique role for someone looking to shift away from a purely hands-on environment into a position with a mix of office-based responsibilities and technical involvement.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll take on a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Acting as the key contact for dealers, ensuring they’re informed about product updates and technical bulletins.
- Conducting dealer audits and site visits, including workshops and warranty evaluations.
- Delivering technical training and ongoing support for both systems and products.
- Monitoring and managing warranty costs to stay within budget.
- Overseeing warranty inventory and coordinating rework for key components like engines and gearboxes.
- Enhancing operational efficiency through strategic initiatives.
- Keeping digital platforms and portals accurate and up to date.
- Traveling frequently for on-site visits and dealer support, both locally and internationally.
- Providing actionable insights from the field to improve assembly and repair processes.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate will bring the following skills and attributes:
- Flexible and eager to travel on short notice, including cross-border and international trips.
- Holds or is willing to obtain a valid passport promptly.
- A code 14 driver’s license with PDP is a plus, but not essential—support can be provided for acquiring this.
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic Trade Test is essential.
- Strong technical aptitude, including diagnostic abilities and a knack for solving complex challenges.
- Proficient in preparing and delivering professional reports.
- Self-driven with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with warranty practices standards is advantageous.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
