PLC Expert Electrician
Our client, based in KZN, is focused on designing and manufacturing eco-friendly rigid plastic packaging solutions for food, beverage, and industrial sectors. With a strong presence in southern Africa through over 40 manufacturing plants and an extensive distribution network, they are committed to being your preferred partner in sustainable packaging.
They are looking for a qualified and expert PLC Electrician.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum N4 & TRADE TESTED Electrician with PLC/Servo Drive/AC Drives & Instrumentation knowledge.
- OR S4/T4 with a minimum of 6 years Electrical PLC & Instrumentation experience OR BSc Electrical Engineering Degree.
AND
- 3 years + relevant experience (post trade).
- PLC fault finding experience & the ability to read/understand ladder diagrams (Allen Bradley and Siemens S7).
- Ability to write software – advantageous.
- Ability to improve downstream line control & program basic programmable relays.
- Ability to set up VSD.
