We are seeking a skilled and organised Finance and Admin Assistant to join a family-run engineering business. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the business, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation.

As Finance and Admin Assistant, you will:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations
- Process accounts payable, receivable, and Bacs payments, and manage payroll processing
- Prepare monthly financial reports, assist with budget preparation, and support audits
- Handle phone reception, email communications, and manage stationery/postage
- Prepare quotes, letters, and health & safety documentation
As Finance and Admin Assistant, you will have:
- Experience in QuickBooks and accounts payable processes
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage tasks independently
- Solid numerical and accounting knowledge
- Effective communication skills, with bookkeeping experience preferred
