The Role As a Finance Business Partner, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and decision-making across the organisation. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across multiple business entities to provide insightful analysis, support strategic initiatives, and ensure robust financial management. Key Responsibilities - Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Provide actionable insights to business leaders to drive performance and profitability.
- Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a trusted advisor to department heads, ensuring alignment of financial goals with business objectives.
- Partner with operational teams across multiple entities to support decision-making and improve financial outcomes.
- Strategic Initiatives
- Support M&A activities, including due diligence, integration, and financial modelling.
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the company s strategic growth plans.
Qualifications and Skills - Essential:
- A recognized finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or similar role within a software, technology or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Desirable:
- Experience working in a multi-entity, international environment.
- Familiarity with software/technology business models, including SaaS metrics.
- Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
