The Role As a Fraud Investigator - Accidental Damage, you'll manage a portfolio of suspected organised/opportunistic accidental damage claims, conduct interviews, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate evidence and make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities of the Fraud Investigator - Accidental Damage: - Conduct thorough investigations of suspected fraudulent Accidental Damage claims
- Perform telephone interviews with customers and engage with external suppliers
- Utilise various databases and liaise with law enforcement agencies
- Assess evidence including intelligence, Police reports, and engineering evidence
- Meet agreed fraud KPIs and targets while ensuring compliance with company procedures
Required knowledge and experience for the Fraud Investigator - Accidental Damage role: - Proven track record of managing a caseload with adherence to SLAs
- Strong understanding of FCA, Consumer Duty, and FOS
- Good understanding of the motor insurance industry
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach and ability to work in a team
