Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Clinical, Forensic or Counselling *Psychologist* to work in *specialist educational setting* in Stoke-on-Trent, and Wilmslow.
*Role summary*
The candidate appointed will be working with children and young people with *special educational needs* and *disabilities*. Students may present with communication difficulties, learning difficulties and *autism*.
The post holder will carry out assessments and create individual plans and therapeutic interventions, write reports, and deliver training to staff, parents and other agencies.
*Contract type* - permanent
*Hours* – 32 hours p/w, part-time, ideally across 4 days, but open to discussion
Semi flexible remote working options can be discussed.
*Salary* - £45,250 - £61,750 FTE DOE
*Experience required:*
Psychologists applying will have *HCPC* registration as a Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist along with experience working with children/young people, *SEN* and/or *mental health* (whether during doctoral training or post qualifying)*.*
