Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a *Head of Clinical Services* role, to support a leading provider of *therapeutic residential *care/*education *in *Shropshire*.
*\*Car driver mandatory due to rural location\**
*Role snapshot:*
The candidate appointed will *manage *the clinical team for the Learning Disability and Autism services. You will be responsible for *consulting *staff teams, *supervision *of team members, *strategic development *for the team, develop policies (clinical *governance*) and deliver training.
The successful applicant will also hold a small *clinical caseload* and provide psychological assessments, *training*, and direct *therapy *for children and young people who could present with Trauma, Autism, Learning Disabilities and Harmful Sexual Behaviours.
*Contract type* – permanent, full time
*Hours* – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
*Salary* - £62,000 FTE, DOE
*Experience required:*
Psychologists applying will have *accreditation *or *membership *with a relevant body and hold experience with a *health, medical/social *background. You will also have experience of management, audit, knowledge of *harmful sexual behaviour *and working with *children*, learning disabilities, trauma or Autism.
