Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Consultant *Clinical Neuropsychologist *to join an *rehabilitation *service supporting adults with *Acquired Brain Injury, *based in Herefordshire.
*Role snapshot:*
The candidate appointed will undertake psychological *assessments* (structured psychometric and clinical methods) and deliver specialist *interventions *from referrals.
You will be responsible for *clinically supervising *an Assistant Psychologist while guiding their professional development. You will interact with service users with *complex *presentations, undertake the assessments using a broad range of structured *psychometric *and semi structured clinical methods.
Additionally, you will maintain high standards of Psychological Care in line with the HCPC Code of *Conduct*, and company policies.
*Contract type* – permanent
*Hours* – 1 day per week , part-time
*Salary* - up to £75,000 FTE
*Experience required:*
Psychologists applying will have *HCPC* registration as a *Clinical *Psychologist along with experience working within a neuro setting (this could be acquired brain injury, neuro-rehab, or working with neuro-degenerative disorders.)
Being an approved supervisor is essential and it's desirable you have prior experience in conducting research and working on projects.
