Our client is looking for a seasoned Senior Solutions Architect/Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in on-premises Microsoft technologies, VMware, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. This role demands a strategic thinker with proven hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing sophisticated IT solutions that align seamlessly with business objectives.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 10 years of IT experience, with 5+ years in a senior solutions architect role.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), MCSE, and CCNA.
- Technical Expertise:
- Microsoft Technologies: Deep experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, and other Microsoft infrastructure tools.
- VMware: Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter, and related virtualization technologies.
- Cloud Platforms: Expertise in AWS and Azure, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, and Azure Active Directory.
- Networking: Solid understanding of networking, including VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS.
- Security: Hands-on experience implementing security best practices across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell and Python for automation and optimization.
