A leading UK-based Fund Administration company, known for its dedication to service excellence, is looking for a talentedFund Accountant to join their teamRemotely. The company is known for their consistently delivering precise reports ahead of schedule, treating investors with professionalism and care, and offering timely, value-added services, they’ve consistently exceeded client expectations.
As aFund Accountant , you’ll be working closely on preparing financial statements, reconciling transactions, calculating net asset values (NAV), and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Preparing Financial Statements and reports for investment funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Reconcile transactions and maintain accurate financial records, including cash, investments, and expenses.
- Calculate Net Asset Value and related investors allocations on a periodic basis.
- Oversea daily Fund Accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial closing activities.
- Monitoring fund expenses and income, ensuring accurate financial records
- Contribute to process improvements in financial workflows and reporting systems.
- Liaise with auditors and support the audit process by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with local and international laws, including tax regulations.
- Assist with client communications, providing timely and accurate financial data and responding to queries.
- Collaborate with investment teams and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Requirements:
- BCom / Bachelor of Accounting or similar degree.
- SAIPA , AGA(SA) or equivalent
- 4 - 6 years of total experience.
- Experience working with lots of clients will be beneficial.
Salary:
- R30 000 - R40 000 / month (based on relevant experience)
