- Lead and drive sales for retail generators and industrial engines across targeted markets.
- Manage and report on all key sales deliverables, ensuring performance metrics are met and exceeded.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities for growth and implement effective sales strategies.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Utilize SAP software to generate accurate reports, track sales performance, and monitor inventory levels.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring stock levels are optimized and stock age is effectively monitored.
- Analyse and understand income statements and the key drivers impacting business performance.
- Achieve and manage the required gross profit (GP) targets for both the retail generators and industrial engines portfolios.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment that maximizes productivity and profitability.
- Demonstrate effective self-management, taking ownership of personal performance and driving results.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
- Engineering Qualification(Electrical or mechanical Engineer) and a marketing qualification would be an advantage
- Proven experience in sales management within the generators and engines sector.
- Strong understanding of sales performance tracking, financial reporting, and inventory management.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies based on market insights.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
