Position: Human Resources Manager
A well established financial services firm would like to welcome to their team a skilled Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's human resources practices and processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Implementing and administering HR policies and programs.
- Managing recruitment and selection process.
- Employee onboarding.
- Payroll processing.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Arranging team events.
- Oversee and manage the performance appraisal process.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations.
- Managing employee relations.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing grievances or other issues.
- Supporting team infrastructure, including certain key suppliers (e.g., landlord, IT contracting).
- Other tasks to support management in terms of optimization of human resources.
Minimum Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of labour laws and regulations in South Africa.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with employees, management, and external partners.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and administering HR programs, policies, and procedures.
- Able to conduct organizational assessments, identify issues and opportunities for improvement, and develop action plans to address them.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior human resources management role.
