Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced General Manager for a luxury hotel in Graskop. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in hotel management and be responsible for overseeing all hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, and managing financial performance.
Responsibilities :
- Lead hotel operations and ensure high service standards.
- Manage budgets, sales plans, and financial reports.
- Oversee daily hotel operations, including guest services and staff management.
- Implement policies and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Maximize revenue through yield management and operational efficiency.
- Address guest complaints and ensure service recovery.
- Work closely with department heads and manage team performance.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 5 years of hotel management experience.
- Proven leadership and strong financial acumen (P&L experience).
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle pressure.
- Experience with hotel systems (PMS, POS) preferred.
- Formal hospitality qualification is an advantage.
- Knowledge of legal and safety compliance regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team effectively.
