We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for our client for the role of Accountant & 2IC. This position will play a pivotal role in the financial management and operational leadership within the organization.
Responsibilities: - Financial Management:
- Manage cash flow and conduct forecasting.
- Analyze cost of sales and other financial metrics.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and maintain financial records.
Operational Leadership: - Collaborate with franchises to ensure financial compliance and support.
- Act as the second-in-command to facilitate smooth operations.
- Maintain and enhance BEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) compliance levels.
Payroll and HR Support: - Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with HR functions related to payroll and employee benefits.
Strategic Analysis and Reporting: - Analyze financial trends and provide insightful reports for decision-making.
- Assist in strategic planning and budgeting processes.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5 X years of proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the franchising or services industry.
- Proficiency in payroll management and HR-related functions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Knowledge of BEE compliance regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of collaborating effectively across teams.
