Job Description
Build strong relationships with suppliers
Coordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner
Drive business development actions in both product and market opportunities in collaboration with the senior BD team in the group
Recruit, hire, and train plant staff
Review and analyze production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, and operating or production problems
Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
Manage the procurement of raw materials and all goods required to deliver on the targets
Qualification & Skills
Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of experience in plant operations or manufacturing management
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
Proven track record of successful plant management in a high-volume manufacturing environment preferably in Chrome/ manganese processing
Must come from Chemical, Minerals, Agriculture background
