What you will enjoy doing
- As the Sales Manager, you are responsible for gathering and reviewing existing information, analysing future opportunities and establishing, growing and maintaining current market share
- Calling on new businesses/contractors and selling range of products before negotiating new contracts and developing sound relationships are important parts of your working routine
- Professionally, you maintain contact with application specialists and provide relevant information and leads as well as develop relationships with key customers and their decision makers while keeping customers up to date with new developments
- You will be part of your responsibilities is drafting proposals, taking cognizance of competitor pricing and making recommendations to Senior managers before quoting outside of guidelines
- Conscientiously, you compile and maintain customer files in SFDC, recording all relevant information and develop monthly reports for managers and also maintain price files per customer
- As you respond to queries and/or problems by organizing appropriate action, you manage to provide sales support to outlying regional areas and Business Units on bulk customers and opportunities
- You will be fully accountable for the achievement of revenue streams, profitability, and volume growth, as well as other key performance indicators for selected accounts in the assigned customer-portfolio/s
What makes you great
- A degree or equivalent in Commerce or a Technical Discipline could be achieved by you
- You have at least five years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in Sales and Marketing with preference for experience as a Sales manager in the Bulk Gases Industry
- Good sales, negotiating and interpersonal skills are essential in this role
