Our client, situated in Wellington, is a leading Consulting Engineering Company in the field of project management, fuel, fire, civil and structural engineering. The company is currently seeking the services of a versatile Civil and Structural Engineer.
The ideal candidate has experience in civil engineering design, structural analysis, and project management, preferably within a small professional team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, National Diploma or B Tech qualification in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil as well as structural engineering
- Civil Engineering design and Structural Analysis skills
- Strong project management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience in preparation of bill of quantities for tenders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a small team
- Strong attention to detail
- All-rounder, team-player
Required software skills/proficiency:
- Autodesk Revit 3D modelling for structural and civil work
- AutoCAD 2D draughting & Civil 3D for civil engineering works
- Prokon Structural Analysis software suite for structural analysis and design
- HEC – RAS Stormwater Analysis Software
- Microsoft Office Package
