The Marketing Manager will manage the marketing department and develop and implement integrated, strategically aligned marketing solutions across the company and various business units. The Marketing Manager will provide specialist marketing advice to stakeholders and is responsible for managing, coordinating, and coaching the marketing team. The Marketing Manager will report into the CEO.
Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree/Diploma: BCom in Marketing/Communications, Business Science with Honors in Marketing or similar degree.
- 6 - 8 years marketing/industry experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the Healthcare industry Mandatory.
Skills required for the position:
- Ability to strategize and think creatively outside of the box.
- Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Knowledgeable on all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok) as well as Facebook Ad Manager.
- Experience with platforms such as Monday.com & Hootsuite.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to be proactive and take initiative.
- An ability to prioritize is key as is the ability to manage a broad range of tasks.
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
Key Accountabilities:
- Overall responsibility for all marketing related activities.
- Manage the Brand, Brand Positioning and Corporate Identity.
- Ensure that the company's image is enhanced in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage the overall communication to key stakeholders and customers to ensure communication is professional and consistent.
- Manage the overall Marketing Budget and work closely with the Business/Product Managers.
- Responsible for final approval of all marketing documentation to ensure all marketing materials are consistent with CI and in line with marketing strategy.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers such as Graphic Designer, SEO & Google AdWords Partner, Printers, Promotional Companies, etc.
- Overall management of clients' website (along with the Marketing Co-Ordinator) to ensure updates to the website are made on a continual basis and products and services are effectively communicated via the website.
- Overseeing management of Google AdWords, Google Analytics, SEO.
- Overseeing management of Social Media Platforms.
- Create highly leveraged marketing strategies across all products and services.
- Create excellent customer journeys for all products/services.
- Implement the necessary marketing systems, policies and practices and continually review and improve on them.
- Collate, compile and report on key business metrics.
- Maintain up to date professional and technical knowledge and keep abreast of industry trends and pertinent legislation.
Management of the Marketing Team:
- Manage the employees in the Marketing Department (3 people).
- Cultivate an environment where creativity and innovation are encouraged and provide necessary guidance, coaching and support in this regard.
- Ensure the team is highly motivated, challenged and supported.
- Ensure team has excellent product and technical knowledge to deliver strategy and build brand.
- Ensure staff are clear about their roles, procedures, and practices - conduct regular performance reviews.
- Set KPIs for the Marketing Team.
Works across all divisions:
- Work alongside the Commercial Team (Business and Product Managers) to develop Marketing Strategies aligned with their commercial strategies and provide direction and support.
Manage the marketing team to ensure implementation of marketing strategies, campaigns, and activities. To be involved with the launch of new products and services - the development of the marketing strategy and marketing materials as well as the incorporation into overall Clients brand. Ensure campaign activities translate into profits or other strategic business objectives and create value for customers and shareholders. Monitor and measure the success of marketing initiatives, drive corrective action, and advise the organization.
