Senior Finance Assistant
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join a team at the South Oxford office of this growing and innovative organisation. This is a hybrid role requiring you to be in the office 3 days per week.
Senior Finance Assistant Responsibilities
As the Senior Finance Assistant, some of your duties will include:
- Processing invoices and expenses
- Weekly payment runs
- Posting journals and preparing prepayments and accruals
- Balance sheet reconciliations prepayments, accruals etc
- Support with general filing, reporting and administration for the Finance team and taking and circulating minutes
- Work closely with other internal teams
- Respond to all queries via phone and email
- Managing the checking and querying of PO s and expenses and preparing and posting internal recharges

Senior Finance Assistant Experience
The successful candidate will have experience working within a finance team in accounts payable role, and you must know way around a balance sheet, with the ability to recognise where housekeeping is required.
You will be collaborative, highly organised, analytical and adaptable to change. The ideal candidate will have a positive and proactive attitude, you will enjoy improving processes and getting involved in ad hoc projects.
Location
Based in South Oxford with onsite parking available. This is a hybrid-working role, and you will be required to work in the office 3 days per week. Flexible working hours and part-time hours will be considered between 7:30am 6:00pm
This role is full-time and permanent.
