Duties
- Operate spot welding equipment
- Assemble components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
- Perform quality checks on welded joints to ensure structural integrity.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while working in the manufacturing environment.
Skills
- Some experience in welding techniques, particularly spot welding and stick welding.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during the assembly process.
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
Days, Monday - Friday, early finish on Fridays. Temp to perm.
