Candidate Requirements:
- Must have a recognised chef qualification and an excellent food portfolio
- Minimum of five years experience as a chef
- Excellent knowledge of taste and flavour combinations
- Skilled in visual presentation with an eye for detail
- Must be up to date with global food trends
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English both written and spoken
- Must have own transport and live locally
- Must be skilled in mentoring, developing, and managing staff to prepare new, original dishes daily according to availability of fresh produce from the garden
- Stock management skills, price calculation and purchasing ability is a must
- Must have excellent computer skills
- Must be able to maintain safety and hygiene standards at all times to the highest level
