This role will be based in a school setting.

Role of a Deputy Catering Supervisor
- Preparing and cooking for for breakfasts, break times, lunches, buffets and promotions.
- Work with the catering manager on menus to ensure that meals are available which cater for different catering dietary needs, in line with school food standards.
- Completing documentation relating to the in house food safety management system (HACCP) You will need to record and document food temporatures during cooking and serving of food, recording of food on delivery, recording temperature of hot and cold holding equipment.
- Maintain a high standard of quality food, presentation and service.
- Serve meals and assist the children in a healthy choice of dishes.
- Prepare the dining area.
- Carry out cleaning duties
Requirements of a Deputy Catering Supervisor
- Must have a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (It is desireable that you have a Level 3 Food Safety Certificate also)
- Must be able to cook and present food to a high standard.
- Knowledge of allergies.
- DBS check
