Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the production team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient processes. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with production planning and scheduling
- Coordinating production milestones and ensuring deadlines are met
- Monitoring inventory levels and liaising with suppliers
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise production processes
- Supporting the implementation of quality control measures
- Assisting with data collection and analysis for performance evaluation
- Handling administrative tasks such as preparing reports and maintaining documentation
Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:
- A relevant degree is preferable, either engineering, mathematics or science
- Naturally enquiring mind: solution orientated and keen to improves processes
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent attention to detail to track and analyse high levels of data
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Effective communication and collaboration ability
Desirable knowledge, skills, qualifications required:
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Experience with ERP systems
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
Technologies used in this role:
- MS Office suite, particularly Access and Excel
- ERP systems
