The Manager Materials Planning (f/m/d) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for direct materials supply taking forecasts, availability of material and manufacturing capacity into account. In this position you are also responsible for identifying and maintaining the appropriate replenishment methods as well as planning parameters in our ERP systems to optimize raw material supply while keeping adequate inventory levels.
This position is located in Munich, Baierbrunn and will be on-site.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of buyer planners, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.

- Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.

You will work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and negotiate lead times and order quantities.
Part of the job is analyzing and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to materials planning & inventory performance, using this data to drive continuous improvements.
Implement and champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in materials planning will also be a responsibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials planning, supply chain management or engineering in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team, with strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in materials planning software and ERP systems.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
