The Role
A Skills Analyst evaluates employee skills, identifies gaps, and supports targeted development through data-driven insights. They work closely with Learning & Development and Technical Training Dpt to align training programs with organizational needs, using tools and frameworks to track and report on skill progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and map out employee skills across roles, identifying areas of strength and gaps to support targeted development.
- Gather and analyze data on employee skills, training outcomes, and performance to uncover insights on training effectiveness and skill progression.
- Develop reports and visual dashboards that provide HR and management with clear insights into skill levels, training impact, and growth areas.
- Align training programs with the organization’s skill needs, creating pathways to bridge identified skills gaps.
- Help define and regularly update competency models for various roles, ensuring alignment with industry standards and organizational goals.
- Conduct research and benchmarking to compare the organization’s skill levels with industry standards, informing strategies to stay competitive.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs, using post-training assessments and performance data to recommend adjustments that improve results.
- Identify and implement software tools for skills assessment, data tracking, and reporting to streamline skills management.
- Share findings with leadership, HR, and department heads, providing actionable insights and guidance for addressing skills gaps.
- Regularly review and refine skills assessment processes, aligning them with regulatory requirements and supporting the organization’s growth and adaptability.
- Facilitate training programs for core competencies.
Profile Required
- N6 /Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- 1 Year Experience in Trackless Mobile Equipment
- Section 13/26D Trade Certificate with proof of Modules
- Critical and Analytical thinker with attention to Detail
