Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant on a Part Time basis working to support the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the business.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Process supplier invoices using internal software and reconcile against purchase orders
- Resolve supplier queries and manage payment-related issues
- Reconcile supplier statements, request and chase invoices, and process credit notes as required
- Distribute customer statements via email and post
- Follow up on outstanding customer payments to ensure adherence to payment terms
- General Accounts Administration
- Process and reconcile credit card receipts.
- Answer calls in a professional manner, manage accounts-related correspondence, and maintain accurate filing systems.
Experience Ideally Required for This Role:
- Prior experience in accounts payable and receivable processes
- Familiarity with ERP software including Xero is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
