Medipost Pharmacy is seeking to recruit a CDU Stock Administrator for the Chronic Dispensing Unit which is being conducted for the Department of Health in the Western.
Job Specification
- Assist in daily warehouse receiving and distribution areas
- Ensure stock is safely and correctly stored away
- Receiving of incoming stock and routing to appropriate area
- Filing of stock orders from production
- Accurately log inventory transactions
- Do cycle counts and reconciliation activities
- Accurately and timely complete instructions for all tasks
- Comply with company policies and safety regulations
- Operate forklift/walk-behind or man-on stacker/turret truck and/or pallet jack
- Accurately pick orders from pick lists
- Replenish the Auto Dispensing Unit (ADU) to meet operational demands
- Bulk picking in preparation for the following day’s dispensing
- Replenish stock continuously to ensure uninterrupted dispensing on the ADU
- Replenish stock on the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) and First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) principles to eliminate stock write-offs as a result of expiry
- Verify stock expiry dates and escalate variances to immediate supervisor
- Attend and participate in daily/weekly team meetings
- Adhere to good housekeeping practices
- Accurate reporting of errors
- Time & attendance according to company policies

- Ability to prioritize large workload
- Ability to maintain policy guidelines in pressured situations
- Ability to act independently
- Ability to accept and take charge of projects allocated on short notice
- Willingness to work overtime during high-pressure periods
Requirements:
- Matric
- Learner Basic / Qualified Basic
- 1 - 2 years' experience in warehouse, stock control, stock levels, replenishment, etc.
- Registered at SAPC
- Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal
- Critical Thinking: Devise plans of action and assess regularly
- Strong organizing and prioritizing skills
- Numeracy: ability to make calculations, estimates, dimensional weight, etc.
- Physical agility: Ability to lift heavy loads
- Self-Motivated and Results Oriented
