Our client is currently looking to employ a Key Account Manager / Customer Liaison, to be based in Kempton Park, Johannesburg.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
- Technical background.
- Drivers’ license and own vehicle essential.
- Prepared to travel nationally, when required.
- Proficient in both verbal and written communication.
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
- Effectively manage client relationships and drive business success.
- Travel to meet clients such as architects, quantity surveyors re projects and market the company.
- Interact positively with clients, understanding their needs and building rapport.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms while ensuring a win-win outcome.
- Identify issues and develop effective solutions quickly.
- Analyse data and market trends to make informed business decisions and recommendations.
- Implement sales techniques and marketing strategies to promote products or services effectively.
- Manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction.
- Provide excellent service and support to clients, addressing concerns and needs proactively.
- Develop long-term strategies for client engagement and account growth.
- Make use of relevant software and tools (like CRM systems) to track interactions and performance metrics.
- Budgeting and sales forecasting.
- Build and maintain a network of contacts that can provide insights or opportunities.
