Service Sales Consultant
The Service Sales Consultant will be responsible for new business growth and development for our service team by selling our service offering, installation, and maintenance service contracts to new and existing customers. Delivering on our “customer first” promise and serving as a trusted advisor to our customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborates directly with the customer to decipher requirements and objectives, developing a plan that offers optimal solutions.
- Obtains and organizes pertinent data to be used effectively for large modernization projects.
- Forecasts sales by researching and developing/maintaining long- and short-range sales and market plans.
- Monitors, analyzes, and communicates sales data through periodic reports to the Sales Manager.
- Thorough knowledge of Pipedrive (this will be the source for tracking all sales).
- Desire to follow every lead through and present potential customers with an enticing overview of the services dormakaba provides.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, which are effective both inside and outside of the business (internal/external).
- Capacity to lead and problem solve.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric.
- Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
- Reliable vehicle for daily commuting to customers.
- Previous sales experience or customer service.
- CRM experience.
- Basic understanding of physics and electrical theory.
- Three to five years of industry sales experience.
