We are hiring a Business Analyst to join our e-Commerce Delivery team. You will be responsible for successfully delivering strategic change across Somerset Bridge Group’s four strategic pillars (Driving Value from Data, Scalable In Structure, Innovative At Our Core and A Winning Culture) with a focus on SBISL’s product distribution and broking system performance.
Working as part of the delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring business and customer outcomes are fully considered in our ongoing programme of work.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements definition
Gather and analyse business requirements, using appropriate requirements documentation and management processes, encompassing functional and non-functional requirements.
Feasibility assessment and business case analysis.
Defining fixes and creating requirements for small changes.
Business process improvement
Engage core stakeholders to drive awareness and buy-in.
Identify and manage internal and external dependencies, affecting solution design / implementation.
Recommend business solution options and support their detailed evaluation.
Stakeholder Engagement
Demonstrate conceptual thinking and research skills, facilitating the design of solutions which account for future developments and changes.
Ability to shape and size project backlogs, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions.
Accountable for development and professionalism
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the services and products within the industry.
Keep abreast of the industry trends and best practice, sharing these with the wider community and applying as and when appropriate.
Required Skills/Experience:
5+ years business analyst experience.
BCS BA certification (Practitioner/Professional) or Expert BA qualification.
Proven track record in producing high-quality Business Requirements Documents, Business Process Mapping, and documentation skills.
Experience of working on both large-scale projects and small change being responsible for defining and designing business solutions.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presenting skills.
Expertise in business change management, project lifecycle processes and tools.
Good project management skills with the ability to plan and schedule own work and work towards tight deadlines.
Knowledge and experience of techniques for planning and controlling programmes, including project management methods such as Waterfall, Agile, Prince 2.
