As soon as possible we are looking for a
Head of Electric & Electronic Systems (f/m/d)
In this position you will be the Head of the E&E function for Compact Wheel Loader, accountable for the lifecycle management of the products, from advanced engineering through new product development into the maintenance phase.
You will be a key player in forming and executing the E&E strategy for all Compact products together with your Compact Excavator counterpart. With a passionate team, you will have a great impact to create the operators' user experience of tomorrow while implementing creative and unique product features. Meeting customers expectations is our ultimate goal.
- You lead and develop the E&E Systems team and drive a culture of open and trustful global and cross-functional team collaboration.
- You develop and execute the E&E strategy to meet our future ambitions i.e., towards electromobility, connected services and carbon emission reductions.
- Your main system responsibilities cover LV/HV electrics, electronic system architectures, software systems and related functional safety solutions.
- You ensure that your system solutions fulfill all Volvo internal functional, quality and safety requirements as well as global laws & regulations.

- Technical degree (MSc or BSc) in engineering or equivalent, preferred in Electronic/Mechatronic
- You bring a solid knowledge in E&E Systems Engineering and solutions
- Ideally, you have experience in leading an engineering team and/or engineering projects
- Open minded, pro-active, communicative, solution oriented and structured way of working
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of time
