We are thrilled to be partnering with a well-established national business based in Chesterfield in their recruitment for a Group Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a newly created role following impressive business growth and will report into the Group Financial Accountant, supporting the head office function. This role will predominantly involve assisting with the preparation of annual statutory accounts for group, performing intercompany reconciliations and providing accurate financial information for completion of management accounts.
This role would suit a newly qualified individual from a technical background looking to step into a group function of a large national business, offering fantastic development prospects, support and wider business exposure.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation of group statutory accounts including subsidiary businesses
- Assisting with group level join venture accounting
- Manage statutory reporting for newly acquired subsidiaries
- Ownership of intercompany reconciliations across the wider group
- Provide accurate and timely information to support the completion of monthly management accounts and external audit processes
- Perform technical reviews of group accounting processes and determine their wider business impact
- Maintain and assist in the development of internal processes and controls within the group finance function
Person Specification:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified
- Experience in financial accounting
