The purpose of this role is to own the client service offering in the specific service line, and all elements of delivery, including implementation of the strategic vision for the clients, delivery against the financial targets set, motivating and managing all client service team members, and building a trusted relationship with clients.
Job Description:
- Delivers innovative and ambitious, strategic and commercial solutions that balance client and agency values working closely with colleagues and clients
- Builds strong client relationships as a trusted advisor with senior client and industry stakeholders
- Deepens the relationship to ensure retention and growth
- Manages team to ensure they also build strong relationships with their counterparts to deliver outstanding client service and achieve targets, and drives a culture of excellence in client service delivery
- Responsible and accountable for service line P&L management and achievement of annual targets
- Immerses self and team in clients’ businesses: understanding their challenges, objectives, external economic environment, markets they operate in, competitive threats and relevant partner agencies; knows their business model, how it is performing and what success looks like; knows client’s products inside out and applies this knowledge to deliver client plans and service
- Uses account plans to stimulate and track future work; manages resources effectively
- Understands client commercial framework and works with the Commercial Business Partner and Managing Director to ensure business is run profitably
- Improves client satisfaction to expand existing revenue streams and build new ones
- Continuous reviewing and optimization of resources, staffing and reviewing of P&Ls monthly with direct reports.
- Manages systems for forecasting accurate spend and track progress
- Works closely with the Commercial Business Partner to deliver targets and understands Dentsu commercial processes, structures, reporting requirements and deadlines intimately
- Responsible for budget setting, monitoring, reporting and escalation of issues
- Responsible for oversight and optimization of operational processes for service line
