Role's Purpose: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HR Officer to join our team in the DRC. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. This position requires a proactive individual who can adapt to a dynamic work environment and contribute to the company's growth and success.
Experience & Qualification Criteria: - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in the mining or industrial sector.
- Knowledge of DRC labor laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in French and English is required; knowledge of local languages is an asset.
Primary Responsibilities: - Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies, including maintaining accurate employee records.
- Performance Management: Assist in the implementation of performance appraisal systems and employee development programs.
- Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate relevant programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- HR Administration: Manage day-to-day HR operations, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave management.
