Senior Lecturer / Lecturer in Macroeconomics with DSGE Modelling (Stellenbosch Campus)

Requirements:
Lecturer:
- Master’s degree awarded by a recognised university, with macroeconomics as a core module.
- Currently enrolled in a PhD programme in macroeconomics.
- A training background in dynamic macroeconomics at a master’s level.
- The ability to teach in English.
Senior Lecturer:
- A PhD awarded by a recognised university, with macroeconomics as a focal area.
- A training background in dynamic macroeconomics at master’s level.
- Lectured DSGE modelling at graduate level.
- Two subsidy-bearing publication units.
- Evidence of successfully completed graduate supervision.
- The ability to teach in English.
Short-listed candidates (those invited for interviews) will be expected to present a lecture on a designated topic to members of the Department of Economics, as well as presenting examples of course material (including examination papers and tests) used in previous courses.
Recommendations:
Lecturer:
- Experience in lecturing macroeconomics at graduate level.
Senior Lecturer:
- Estimated DSGE models in published research papers.
