We're looking for a project Manager to join our Regional Civils team based in Bridgewater Tidal Barrier, Somerset, to deliver one of England's biggest flood defence schemes, The Bridgwater Tidal Barrier.

Contract: Permanent, full time
What will you be responsible for?
As a Project Manager, you'll be working within the Environment Agency framework, supporting them in the end-to-end delivery of the Bridgwater Tidal Barrier projec.
Your day to day will include:
- Directing multi-disciplinary teams including commercial, programme controls, engineering, and others to identify solutions to client requirements and establish a robust baseline plan to manage and maintain the plans to project completion.
- Ensuring the project is programmed in P6 to a level of detail necessary for operational teams to deliver the projects and that the programmes are contractually compliant.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions.
- Coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications, commitments are met.
- Working closely with Senior Project Manager & other member of the Senior Management Team to lead, encourage, direct and develop specialist teams to deliver objectives for internal and external stakeholders.
What are we looking for?
This role of Project Manager is great for you if:
- You have previous experience working with main contractor in on Civils/Marine projects
- You are a member of the Association for Project Management or equivalent, holding or working towards chartered status or equivalent
- You have strong knowledge construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
