Inuka is working with a leading South African trader and independent power producer that has 500 MW of projects across wind and solar PV expected to be in construction by the end of 2024. They are currently looking to bring on an experienced Project Manager in Cape Town, South Africa.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Oversee project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure all phases of the project are completed efficiently.
- Contract & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget Management: Monitor project expenses, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control to keep the project within budget.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks early and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project objectives are met with minimal disruption.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to international quality standards throughout the project, conducting regular inspections and audits.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of project management experience in the renewable energy sector.
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Strong experience in contract management and risk assessment.
