Your Duties and Responsibilities...
- Recruit instructors and deliver training in SME areas for the Academy as a Master Trainer as scheduled by the Regional Product Training Manager.
- Build a community.
- Ensure no one gets on the timetable who isn't properly trained, assessed, and vetted.
- Serve as an iconic regional leader for each GEX stream.
- Own in club & class quality assurance for their region.
- Will have a structure of visits & assessments each month to cover all clubs delivering concepts.
- To assess no less than five and up to ten agreed instructors a week.
- Provide feedback and development points to the instructors.
- Support instructors through the instructor development pathway.
- Support and feedback on brand standards, and support on project & capex rollout as required.
- Deliver at least three strategic 'iconic' classes per week in designated clubs.
- Stand in to deliver project management of concept rollouts, following the “Product Roll Out” plan.
- To represent Virgin Active at/in marketing, PR, trade shows, conferences, and events as our SA expert.
- To deliver one in club masterclass / workshop, and or product event monthly.
- To deliver filming sessions in the studio if required for training & commercial persons.
- Advocate safety and ensure an overall safe environment for members and instructors.
Our Minimum Requirements...
- Relevant tertiary fitness qualification
- 3-5 years’ experience within the fitness or group ex role
- You are driven to achieve your own goals and you love motivating others.
- You leverage your life experience and charismatic personality to help members and instructors experience physical, mental, and emotional breakthrough moments.
- Your confident and cool under pressure.
- Confident in front of the camera
- Pilates – Level 3 Mat Pilates with specialism in Reformer Pilates
- Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule.
