Our Client a Global Tech firm is seeking an Azure Ops Lead to join their team in Cape town (4 days a week, 2 days onsite and 2 days remote) on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, attractive rates and a great working environment.
An Azure Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of Azure cloud infrastructure and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Cloud infrastructure management and oversee the deployment, management, and maintenance of Azure cloud resources.
- Implement and monitor cloud performance metrics to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
- Work with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of cloud operations with overall mission objectives.
- Oversee the implementation of technical changes to supported environments with an automation-forward mindset
- Provide on-site and remote support for day-to-day Azure operations, assist with new and existing Azure projects, and conduct cross-training sessions for team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cloud computing, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience managing Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Azure certified
- Minium of 5 years Technical Azure hands on experience
